Overview

The Stories Editor is a timeline-based interface in PeachDesk Voice Studio for building multi-voice narratives, podcasts, and conversations. Arrange clips from different voices on parallel tracks, fine-tune their timing, and render a single mixed audio file тАФ all in the browser, with no software to install. Open it from the Stories tab in Voice Studio, inside your PeachDesk dashboard.

Creating a story

Create a new story

Open the Stories tab and click + New Story.

Add tracks

Create a separate track for each voice or speaker. Each track can use a different cloned or built-in voice.

Add clips

  • Drag clips in from your generation history
  • Generate new clips inline by typing text and selecting a voice and model
  • Upload your own audio files

Arrange & edit

  • Position clips along the timeline
  • Trim clip edges
  • Adjust spacing and timing between speakers

Export

Render the final mixed audio and download it as WAV, MP3, or M4A.
When you generate a clip inline, the selected model runs on PeachDeskтАЩs GPU infrastructure тАФ just pick an engine and voice from the dropdowns. There are no local model files to download or manage.

Adding clips from elsewhere

You can build a story from audio you have already created:
  • From Generation History тАФ use Add to Story on any clip in the Generation tab to drop it onto the timeline.
  • From the Effects tab тАФ apply a versioned take, then send it into a story to mix processed audio alongside raw voices.
