The Stories tab in PeachDesk Voice Studio lets you compose multi-voice narratives on a timeline — podcasts, audiobooks, game dialogue, and other multi-speaker content. Everything runs in your browser, and all synthesis happens on Bibha’s hosted GPU infrastructure, so there’s nothing to install and no models to manage. Open Voice Studio from your PeachDesk dashboard and select the Stories tab to get started.

Getting Started

The Stories editor is perfect for content where more than one voice needs to be arranged together in time.
1

Create a story

From the Stories tab, click + New Story to start a fresh timeline project.
2

Add tracks

Create a track for each speaker. Assign each track a voice profile — either a Built-in voice or one you created with Clone from audio in the Voices tab.
3

Add clips

Generate speech for a track directly from the editor, or drag in audio you’ve already created in the Generation tab. Each clip sits on its track at a specific point on the timeline.
4

Arrange

Position, trim, and reorder clips along the timeline to control pacing, overlap, and turn-taking between speakers.
5

Export

Render the timeline to a single mixed audio file and download it, or save it for use in your other Voice Studio projects.
Each track is tied to a voice profile, so a single story can blend several distinct speakers. Switching a track’s voice re-uses the same clips with the new voice when you regenerate.

Use Cases

Multi-host podcasts

Give each host their own track and voice, then arrange the conversation on the timeline.

Audiobook narration

Use a narrator track plus separate tracks for character voices to bring dialogue to life.

Game dialogue scenes

Script branching or sequential exchanges between characters as distinct tracks and clips.

Educational content

Present material as a dialogue between multiple speakers for a more engaging lesson.

Working with Clips

  • Generate in place — create a clip’s audio from text without leaving the Stories editor; the result is added to the active track.
  • Reuse generated speech — anything you produce in the Generation tab can be dropped onto a track as a clip.
  • Apply effects — refine a clip in the Effects tab. Effects are applied as versioned takes, so you can compare versions and roll back at any time.
  • Trim and position — adjust each clip’s start point and length on the timeline to fine-tune pacing and overlap between speakers.
Break long narratives into smaller clips. Shorter segments generate faster, are easier to regenerate individually, and give you finer control over timing.

Coming Soon

The full timeline editor is actively being built out. Additional documentation will be added as features are finalized.
